One consultant neurosurgeon sees patients here, with further training in spine surgery. We have CT scanning and an intensive care unit, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, every day.

When to seek emergency care
After any head injury, drowsiness, repeated vomiting, confusion, a fit, or fluid from the nose or ear means come in immediately. Back pain with sudden weakness in both legs, or loss of bladder control with back pain, is also an emergency. Come to our emergency department or call 1800 345 7777.
