We treat teeth, gums, jaws and the face: fillings, extractions and routine dental care at one end, and surgery on the jaw and facial bones after an injury or for cleft lip and palate at the other. Our OPD runs 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
We have three consultants. Two specialise in oral and maxillofacial surgery, which is surgery of the jaw and face, and our senior consultant also treats cleft lip and palate. We have operation theatres, consultant anaesthetists, CT scanning and inpatient beds.

When to seek emergency care
Toothache that keeps you awake or has not settled with painkillers, swelling of the face or gum, a tooth knocked out or loosened by an injury, bleeding gums, or difficulty opening the mouth needs a dental OPD visit. Facial swelling that is spreading, or that makes swallowing or breathing difficult, is an emergency. Come to our emergency department, not the dental clinic.
